About The Position

The Transit Management Analyst, Emerging Talent Intern position is part of the Operations Control Center - Stations department located at 354 West 54th Street, New York, NY. The OCC- Stations personnel manage significant events occurring within the stations and support emergency communication between 472 Stations and personnel at the Operations Control Center (OCC). The interns will improve MTA's operational efficiency by promoting data-driven decision making, streamlining processes, and automating repetitive tasks.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
• Keen eye for detail and ability to work independently while being an active team player
• Matriculated in an undergraduate program in good standing with at least a 2.5 GPA
• Preferred majors: Business Administration, Public Administration, Technology, Computer Science, or related major
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of application
• Students' transcript must be submitted

• Collecting, evaluating, and using data relating to operational procedures, administrative systems, equipment and space utilization, and staffing requirements, including the preparation of charts, graphs, drawings, and technical reports.
• Maintaining files and keeping track of important department documents
• Analyzing Crystal Reports
• Automating & Streamlining Routine Processes
