About the position

The Transplant Account Manager (TAM) at CareDx is responsible for driving the adoption and growth of the company's transplant diagnostics portfolio. This role focuses on building relationships with transplant centers and community nephrology accounts, collaborating with various internal teams to develop and execute strategic account plans. The TAM is expected to possess strong communication skills, clinical knowledge, and a patient-centric approach to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of account needs, objectives, and challenges to provide tailored solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts to upsell and cross-sell CareDx products.
  • Create and implement long-term, account-specific strategies to drive adoption and market share.
  • Possess understanding of therapeutic areas, scientific concepts, and testing platforms relevant to the products.
  • Establish strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and manage customer satisfaction.
  • Forecast and manage the sales pipeline to track progress towards objectives.
  • Prepare performance reports for regional leadership, providing insights into strategy effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions that address customer needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years sales or strategic account management experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience selling into hospitals and health systems, navigating multiple levels of stakeholders.
  • Track record of developing effective account strategies that maximize business outcomes.
  • Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Salesforce.com, and analytical tools.

  • Experience in transplant diagnostics or related fields.
  • Familiarity with genomic-based healthcare solutions.
