About the position

The Transplant Quality/PI Coordinator at Temple University Hospital plays a crucial role in supporting quality management and performance improvement efforts for Solid Organ Transplant Services, specifically overseeing Heart, Lung, Liver, and Kidney/Pancreas programs. This position is responsible for analyzing data from various sources, ensuring data integrity, and providing training to staff on reporting requirements. The coordinator also contributes to the performance evaluation of transplant team members and supports quality assessment and patient safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support quality management and performance improvement efforts for Solid Organ Transplant Services.
  • Analyze data from internal and external sources for quality management.
  • Review and interpret data to ensure data integrity.
  • Oversee all aspects of data collection and reporting.
  • Provide training to physicians and staff on transplant data reporting requirements.
  • Evaluate the performance of transplant team members regarding data reporting and regulatory compliance.
  • Support program Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health care discipline, Informatics, or related field (Required).
  • Graduate certificate in Healthcare Quality and Safety or equivalent (Required).
  • 3 years of experience in Health Care (Required).
  • General experience in Healthcare quality and/or data management (Preferred).
  • CPHQ - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (Preferred).

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in health care discipline, informatics, or related field of study (Preferred).
