About the position

We are looking for a Transport Driver to be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering fuel to a variety of locations to include Gas Stations, Airports, Construction sites, large freight and equipment companies, etc., while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional image as part of the company team. We use Peterbilt's and Kenworth's, mainly Cummins 565HP with 18 speeds. This is a day shift position with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. You'll report to the Transport Driver Manager working out of our Billings, Montana location, focusing on these key responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Deliver fuel to a variety of locations to include Gas Stations, Airports, Construction sites, large freight and equipment companies, etc.
  • Maintain a professional image as part of the company team.
  • Comply with all D.O.T. industry and company safety regulations.
  • Analyze and understand general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and government rules and regulations.
  • Calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, and volume.
  • Problem solve in stressful situations and make decisions based on training provided.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Current CDL Class A.
  • Hazmat, Doubles Triples, Tankers preferred.
  • 2 years driving experience in Class 8 vehicle.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Current Driver Certification Card (Physical).
  • Must be able to pass Drug Screen, Reference Check, Background Check, Motor vehicle records check.
  • Willing to work long hours to meet customer needs, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to read and analyze general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government rules and regulations.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages and volume.
  • Willing to be on-call on a rotating schedule once fully trained.
  • Experience operating a manual transmission helpful.
  • Strong Communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in the fuel and oil industry preferred.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Computer experience.
  • Will be using a tablet for dispatches and Electric Logs daily.
  • Will use digital displays at the racks and customer sites.

  • Experience operating a manual transmission helpful.
  • Knowledge and experience in the fuel and oil industry preferred.
