About the position
As a Transport Driver at Coinstar, you will be responsible for driving a company vehicle, specifically a box truck, to various Coinstar kiosks within a designated territory. Your primary duty will involve collecting and transporting coins from these kiosks to a specified location. This role requires the use of a specialized hand-dolly to safely move coin bins that can weigh up to 600 lbs from the kiosks to the truck, ensuring that all coin bins are securely loaded for delivery. You will have the autonomy to plan and schedule your daily routes with input from your manager, allowing for adjustments as new priorities and tasks arise throughout the day. Successful candidates for this position will need to possess a valid Driver's License and maintain a satisfactory driving record, with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) being a plus, though not mandatory. A minimum of one year of experience in transport, box truck, route, or delivery driving is required. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate the ability to handle heavy loads, possess excellent customer service skills, and have a High School Diploma or GED. Upon hire, you will be required to pass a pre-employment background check, a Motor Vehicle Record review, and a drug screening. Furthermore, obtaining a Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification (CMV) through a DOT physical will be necessary. The position offers a competitive pay range of $20.00 to $22.25 per hour, with additional short-term bonus incentives based on both company and individual performance.
