About the position

The Transport Engineer position at Indotronix International Corporation is a critical role that requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills. This position is primarily focused on transport engineering within the telecommunications sector, specifically in support of the company's 5G network rollout. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a monthly interconnect implementation plan that aligns with various build targets, including macro, in-building, small cell, and other advanced technologies. The role demands a high level of productivity in a dynamic environment, where the engineer must manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while ensuring timely completion of circuit orders and documentation. In this role, the Transport Engineer will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers to design and issue Circuit Information Queries (CIQs) for IP/Ports assignments, as well as manage the engineering of new cells, trunks, and circuit ordering. The engineer will also be tasked with placing circuit orders with Local Exchange Carriers for various telco services, tracking order statuses, and escalating issues as necessary. Regular participation in project update meetings is expected, where the engineer will present the current status of ongoing projects and coordinate with vendors to meet network milestones. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills, along with a solid understanding of telecom products and technologies. This position is hybrid, allowing for a mix of remote and on-site work, and is expected to last for a duration of 12 months.
