About the position

Our client is currently seeking a Transport Network Circuit Design Engineer in Tampa, FL. This position is crucial for the design of network circuits that will support Telco migrations, specifically focusing on Access Unification. The role involves detailed design and provisioning efforts at both the OCN (Optical Carrier Network) and Wave levels, ensuring that the network infrastructure is robust and capable of meeting the demands of modern telecommunications. The engineer will work closely with various teams to ensure that the designs align with operational requirements and industry standards. This position requires a strong understanding of network design principles and the ability to translate complex requirements into effective circuit designs. Responsibilities

• Design of network circuits to support Telco migrations (Access Unification).
• Conduct design and provisioning efforts at OCN and Wave levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design alignment with operational requirements.
• Translate complex requirements into effective circuit designs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in network circuit design.
• Experience working with Local Exchange Carrier and Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (LEC/CLEC).
• Familiarity with TCOMS, CCP, PC, CoFEE, and SNM.
