About the position

The Sales Account Representative at Double D Express is responsible for managing and expanding a customer base within a designated Northern Illinois territory. This role emphasizes relationship-building and requires a proactive approach to sales, focusing on both maintaining existing accounts and securing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain current accounts.
  • Prospect, qualify and secure new business.
  • Daily contact with customers and prospects.
  • One day in-office, four days outside calls.
  • Daily and monthly reports.
  • Ongoing communication with Sales Manager and office staff.

Requirements

  • Minimum three years' experience in sales or account management.
  • Excellent communication skills for live presentations and email correspondence.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Outstanding work ethic and driven to succeed.
