About the position

The Transportation and Logistics Associate position at AVLD Events Inc. is a part-time role focused on the safe and timely transportation of audiovisual equipment for corporate events. The associate will support the Operations Manager and play a key role in loading, unloading, and setting up equipment, ensuring high standards of customer service and adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport audiovisual equipment to and from event venues in a timely manner.
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment from vehicles.
• Help set up and break down audiovisual equipment at event venues.
• Ensure all equipment is handled with care to prevent damage during transportation and setup.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving company vehicles.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure safe operation.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate logistics and schedules.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients when interacting on-site.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience driving 26ft commercial vehicles preferred, CDL not required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with audiovisual equipment and setup procedures is a plus.
