About the position
The Transportation Bus Driver at Walt Disney World Resort is responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of guests as they travel throughout the parks and resorts. This role requires adherence to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and local traffic laws, with a focus on providing excellent service. Candidates will receive paid training to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) if hired, and must possess a valid Florida Driver's License to begin the CDL process.
Responsibilities
- Transport guests safely throughout multiple routes within the parks and resorts.
- Observe Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and state/local traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with guests and Dispatch Operators in both verbal and written English.
- Maintain a proven record of following state and federal motor vehicle regulations.
- Meet Department of Transportation Physical Standards and Regulations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of current valid licensed operating experience, with the last 3 years in the United States.
- Must be at least 21 years of age due to licensed driving requirements.
- Possess a valid Florida Driver's License to begin the CDL process.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
