About the position

Our primary focus is on picking up new clients needing treatment. We also handle client appointments, hospital transports, discharges and daily errands for Mountainside.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and without incident
• Follow relevant safety regulations and state laws governing vehicle operation and ensure that passengers follow safety regulations
• Test vehicle equipment such as lights, brakes, horns or windshield wipers, to ensure proper operation
• Coordinate with Transportation team and Admissions team to arrange pickup and transport of new admissions, current clients or groups on an as-need or scheduled basis
• Complete documentation as it relates to the experience with client
• Provide passengers with assistance entering and exiting vehicles and help them with any luggage
• Complete accident reports when necessary
• Work independently and within a team
• Maintain proficiency in record-keeping and documentation of vehicle use and maintenance

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Current, valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Experience working in the area of customer service preferred but not required
• Ability to safely operate vehicles and transport passengers
• Familiarity with local roads, highways and their laws
• Provide weekly schedule of availability
• Flexible - Available to work nights and weekends
