Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of warehouse/distribution experience, preferably related to outbound shipments.
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required.
  • Ecommerce background is a plus.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 65 lbs, and bend/lift safely and repetitively.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and carry out simple instructions from oral or written correspondence.
  • High level of professionalism and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to adjust to sudden changes in customer demands or operational goals.
  • Ability to plan, schedule tasks, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented and accurate with a focus on quality and performance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that freight is loaded accurately in trailers for shipment to customers.
  • Partner with Operations and local delivery vendors to adjust processes for 100% delivery success.
  • Familiarize with the sorter process and audit packages for accuracy.
  • Work with Scheduler to ensure timely delivery of trailers by vendors.
  • Prioritize trailers in the yard to prevent any from being left behind or sent to the wrong facility.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the shipment process and collaborate with Operations for success.
  • Audit the process and document any delivery issues.
  • Work with Operations and transportation to define and implement solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
