About the position

The Transportation Driver is responsible for safely transporting residents to and from scheduled appointments, activities, and emergency situations. This part-time role emphasizes adherence to safety policies and regulations while providing excellent service to residents and their families.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from scheduled appointments and activities.
• Provide emergency transport as directed.
• Follow all regulatory and safety policies during transportation.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Maintain a valid driver license in good standing.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Must be CPR certified or willing to obtain certification.
• Valid driver license in good standing.
• Minimum age of 25 years.
• Ability to communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work hours as scheduled based on position requirements.
• Must meet local health regulations and pass post-employment physical exams, if required.

Nice-to-haves

• Related experience in a similar role preferred.
• CNA certification preferred.
