About the position

The Transportation Electrification Program Manager at Resource Innovations will lead the development and implementation of transportation electrification solutions for utility customers. This role involves managing client relationships, coordinating with internal and external teams, overseeing budget management, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The manager will also contribute to building standard operating procedures and playbooks as the practice grows, while supporting sustainability and carbon reduction efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of transportation electrification initiatives, including V2G technologies and submetering technologies.
  • Collaborate with technology partners, local installation partners, school districts, and customers to promote programs and gather feedback.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding transportation and data privacy.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate program success and prepare reports for stakeholders.
  • Manage partnerships with subcontractors and cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Stay updated on transportation electrification industry trends and innovations to inform program enhancements.
  • Identify potential risks to program success and implement mitigation strategies.

Requirements

  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to Chicago, IL within 30 days of acceptance.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a relevant field of study.
  • 4 years of previous relevant project management experience, preferably in solar, energy efficiency, stationary storage, or EV charging infrastructure.
  • Excellent organizational and scheduling skills.
  • Client management experience.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to be flexible and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Excellent skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Asana, Smartsheets, or equivalent is a bonus.
  • Superior interpersonal/client skills and ability to handle confidential information.
  • High degree of inter-cultural sensitivity and inclusiveness.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with stakeholder engagement and familiarity with organizations across the ComEd territory.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred.
  • Experience working with utility clients and/or school districts.
  • Previous experience in automotive, solar, stationary storage, or EV charging program management.
