• Develop large scale transportation projects such as highways, tunnels, mass transit, and aviation engineering designs.
• Review draft designs for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Perform site reviews and studies to ensure designs align with location specifications.
• Inspect new construction and existing transportation structures as necessary.
• Contribute to the firm's technical knowledge management by developing white papers and technical design documentation.
• Submit technical papers and designs for publication in technical journals.
• Create or collaborate on presentation materials for conferences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Transportation, or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• 0 years of experience, with equivalent additional directly related experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• Basic knowledge of computer-assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles of design.
• Knowledge of Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
