About the position

The Transportation Engineer/Project Manager will oversee roadway expansion and improvement projects, driving growth and supporting the development of the transportation team within a leading civil infrastructure firm. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects across the AEC sector while collaborating with industry peers and leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Educate clients on services to drive business growth.
  • Identify regulatory trends to position the company as an industry leader.
  • Assess and manage contractual obligations throughout project lifecycles.
  • Lead complex, multidisciplinary transportation projects.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Develop project strategies, scopes, budgets, and schedules; manage project performance to meet company standards.
  • Ensure project quality aligns with company and industry standards.
  • Participate in professional networking and represent the company with regulatory agencies.
  • Mentor team members and encourage a culture of engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • 5-10 years of experience with ODOT roadway improvement projects.
  • PE license required.
  • Proven ability to lead project teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Bicycle Facilities & Enhancements.
  • Experience with Non-Complex and Complex Roadway Design.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary ranging from $115k-$140k/year.
