About the position

The Transportation Engineer will be responsible for designing and preparing roadway improvements that support aviation and land development practices. This role involves working on various transportation projects, ensuring effective design and implementation of infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare roadway improvements supporting aviation and land development practices.
• Design horizontal and vertical alignments for transportation projects.
• Conduct grading and drainage design for roadway improvements.
• Develop streetscape and roadway improvement plans.
• Implement multimodal design, including multi-use trails and complete streets.
• Create signage, striping, and signalization plans.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in civil engineering or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• EIT (Engineer in Training) or PE (Professional Engineer) certification or on track to obtain it.
• Proficiency in AutoCad Civil 3D and/or MicroStation.
• Experience in the design of roadway and transportation projects.
• DOT (Department of Transportation) experience is a plus.
