Responsibilities

• Serve as a task lead on transportation-related projects.
• Design and develop plans for new and rehabilitation roadway projects.
• Utilize highway/roadway design expertise in large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to deliver solutions.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state design guidelines.

Requirements

• Substantial post-graduate experience in roadway projects, including design and plan development.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Proficiency with CADD/Design Software, preferably MicroStation/OpenRoads.
• Working knowledge of federal and state design guidelines.
• Professional Engineer (PE) Registration in Florida or ability to attain it.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with multi-discipline infrastructure engineering design and construction projects.
• Familiarity with Florida Department of Transportation Design Standards.
• Previous project experience with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Counties, and Municipalities.
