About the position
The Neshaminy School District has an immediate opening for a Transportation Mechanic Helper in the Transportation Department. This position involves providing support in the maintenance and repair of a fleet of buses, trucks, and lawn equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in providing routine maintenance to a fleet of buses, trucks, and lawn equipment.
- Utilize basic shop equipment and automotive tools as needed.
- Support the Transportation Department in various mechanical tasks.
Requirements
- Prior experience/knowledge of basic shop equipment and basic automotive equipment.
- PA State Inspection License (or ability to obtain within one year of employment).
- Ability to provide routine maintenance to a fleet of buses, trucks, and lawn equipment.
- Must hold a PA Class B CDL License with School Bus Endorsement and air brake endorsement or be able to obtain such license with district provided training.
