About the position

The Transportation Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the recruiting and onboarding processes for new truck driver applicants. This position involves managing applicant paperwork, ensuring compliance with company and DOT requirements, and providing administrative support throughout the onboarding journey. The specialist will communicate with applicants and internal teams to facilitate a smooth transition for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Manage applicants' paperwork flow.
• Receive, review, and input all company and DOT requirements, identifying any potential errors or risks.
• Provide administrative support for the Tenstreet application process, maintaining accurate and real-time notes on new hires.
• Communicate consistently with applicants regarding any missing documents needed to complete their applications.
• Conduct final reviews and audits for all required items for driver activation.
• Coordinate and communicate with agents and field recruiters during the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition.
• Identify and resolve specific concerns based on agents' needs, working with management to revise processes as necessary.
• Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up communication to both internal and external personnel and job applicants.

Requirements

• 1 year of recruiting experience (preferred)
