About the position
The Transportation Routing Coordinator is responsible for accurately assigning freight costs and accessorial requirements for sales orders across all brands within Luxor Workspaces. This role involves historical analysis to ensure the accuracy of freight assignments and requires collaboration with various departments to facilitate the sales order process from quotation to shipment and invoicing. The coordinator will also work closely with a freight management audit service to address discrepancies in freight costs and invoices.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the correct freight and accessorial assignments for sales orders.
- Provide accurate freight quotations for all brands within Luxor.
- Consolidate weekly shipping and invoicing data to verify accuracy of quotations and invoicing.
- Validate collection of invoices to ensure freight expenses are paid by customers.
- Create a scorecard by carrier for accessorial charges and performance metrics.
- Troubleshoot discrepancies in shipping and freight expenses with cross-functional departments.
- Report monthly KPIs to management on carrier performance and financial metrics.
Requirements
- High School diploma required; College degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or analytical work in a consumer/wholesale business.
- High level of proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Intermediate experience with ERP systems.
