About the position

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision for a group of assigned Drivers.
• Achieve safe, timely, and accurate deliveries to customers.
• Review driver logs, hours of service, and other DOT requirements for compliance.
• Coordinate activities with other distribution center departments.
• Manage special projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of transportation management experience in the food distribution industry.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Basic competency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• AS/400 experience preferred.
• Truck routing software experience preferred.
