Responsibilities
- Determine property boundaries
- Prepare deeds and maps
- Utilize computer-aided design and mapping (CAD/CAM) systems for calculations and map production
- Maintain accurate title records, reports, vesting documents, and other related documentation
- Conduct research and analysis of ownership records, title reports, recorded maps, survey notes, and vesting documents for boundary determination
Requirements
- Possess a valid California driver's license
- Ability to travel around the state for a week at a time
- Ability to carry 50 lbs. across a distance on steep and uneven terrain
- Meet the minimum qualifications for a Transportation Surveyor (Caltrans)
- Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), specifically ESRI products

- Proficiency in computer-aided design and mapping (CAD/CAM) systems
- Experience preparing legal descriptions and deeds
- Experience with ArcGIS (ArcMap and ArcPro) and related GIS tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
