About the position

The Transportation Sales Vice President and Client Account Manager will be a key member of the California Senior Leadership Team, focusing on growing the Transportation practice with an emphasis on Transit & Rail opportunities across California. This role involves driving client outreach strategies, developing relationships, and leading efforts to position and deliver projects. The successful candidate will leverage their knowledge of the Transportation market to engage with local governments and stakeholders, contributing to the growth of the company's professional services portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Drive client outreach strategies and relationship development actions.
  • Identify key pursuits and lead positioning and delivery efforts.
  • Share in the development and growth of the internal structure promoting autonomy.
  • Lead client service teams for existing and new clients across California.
  • Develop and implement broader Transportation market growth strategies through direct interactions with client organizations.
  • Build strategic win-win relationships with other consulting firms and contractors as partners.
  • Engage with existing pursuits that align with skill sets and career objectives.
  • Participate in internal technical and social communities to enhance sales and business development skills.

Requirements

  • BA or BS degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related Marketing discipline.
  • At least 15 years of progressive experience in capital improvements with a specialty in Transportation projects, particularly in Transit & Rail.
  • At least 10 years of management experience, developing and leading procurement teams.
  • Experience developing strategies for growth including brand development and a successful track record of guiding proposals to successful outcomes.
