About the position
The Transporter / Residential Coordinator at Family Guidance Centers, Inc. is responsible for transporting program patients for admissions, discharges, and medical appointments, while also supporting treatment plans and maintaining the cleanliness of agency vehicles. This role is crucial in facilitating the behavioral health of individuals and ensuring they receive the necessary care and support.
Responsibilities
- Transport program patients for admission and discharge, medical and other community appointments (approximately 75% of work time).
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of agency vans.
- Support treatment plans by reporting client observations on appropriate forms (SAMMS / Incident Report/BOP documentation, etc.).
- Assist case manager/counselor with client activities by implementing scheduled and/or requested activities.
- Work cooperatively with nursing and medical staff to monitor clients' vital signs, observe urine drops, monitor clients, and chart all pertinent data.
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED required.
- Experience in/with substance use, detox programs, medication-assisted treatment, behavioral healthcare and/or community relations encouraged to apply.
