Responsibilities

• Provides superior customer service that exceeds normal expectations.
• Loads orders into delivery vehicles.
• Checks deliveries for accuracy and routes them effectively.
• Completes return forms and handles invoices and transfers correctly.
• Performs other warehouse duties if no deliveries are pending.
• Observes and follows all necessary safety regulations at all times.
• Relays pertinent information to the manager in a timely manner.
• Answers customer questions politely or refers them to the manager if necessary.
• Delivers customer orders promptly and effectively.
• Makes only assigned deliveries and calls the manager from the customer's location as required.
• Initials all cash invoices legibly and follows correct cash handling procedures.
• Records all pertinent information on invoices.
• Performs daily vehicle checks and routine maintenance as needed.
• Informs manager of non-routine repairs or maintenance needed for company vehicles.
• Performs vehicle cleanup daily and facility maintenance responsibilities.
• Demonstrates professionalism and courtesy with customers, vendors, and fellow employees.
• Accurately follows oral and written instructions and works well with others under deadlines.
• Seeks out training opportunities internally and externally.
• Reports to work on time and as scheduled.

Requirements

• Two years of driving experience/license preferred.
• Ability to read and recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers.
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions and deal with problems.
