About the position

The Transporter position at Franciscan Health involves the safe and efficient transport of patients to and from imaging services. This role is essential in ensuring that patients receive timely care while maintaining their comfort and safety during transport. The position requires working on weekends, specifically Friday through Sunday, from 11:30 AM until Midnight.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for transport in imaging services.
• Identify patients prior to transport.
• Transport patients to imaging services.
• Return patients after imaging services.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire.
