About The Position

The Trauma Program Manager is responsible for promoting optimal care for critically injured patients within the medical facility. This role involves planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating care processes, as well as overseeing the trauma services' day-to-day operations, including staffing, budgetary planning, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Current RN license in California.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• PALS certification.
• ENPC certification within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC certification within 6 months of hire (Instructor preferred).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• 3-5 years of Emergency or Critical Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the promotion of optimal care within the medical facility.
• Demonstrate professional competency in the nursing process.
• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate the care of critically injured patients.
• Maintain records of the trauma registry and its Quality Improvement reports.
• Conduct educational programs for personnel involved in the care of trauma patients.
• Monitor patients' clinical progress during hospitalization.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the trauma services.
• Participate in staffing and budgetary planning.
• Lead quality improvement efforts within the department.
