About the position
The Trauma Surgery Opportunity in Pine Bluff, AR is for a board certified or board eligible surgeon to join a dedicated surgery team. The role involves providing trauma care in a Level III Trauma Center, with responsibilities including emergency department coverage, inpatient consults, and post-operative follow-ups. Responsibilities
- Provide 10 days of 24-hour shifts per month covering the emergency department.
- Conduct inpatient consults and manage inpatient services.
- Perform clinic post-operative follow-up appointments.
- Utilize the da Vinci Robot for surgical procedures.
- Participate in trauma resuscitation and emergency general surgery as needed.
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in surgery.
- Minimum of two years post-training experience in trauma surgery.
- Extensive experience in trauma resuscitation.
