The role involves working 40 hours per week in an 8-hour shift format, focusing on cardiac echo and sonography techniques.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis of heart conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to interpret ultrasound results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Ensure the proper functioning of ultrasound equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Educate patients about the procedures and provide comfort during examinations.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Cardiac Sonographer or equivalent.
- Experience in performing cardiac ultrasound examinations.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
