About the position
Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Tech (Cardiac Tech) for a 13-week assignment in Escondido, CA. This full-time position involves working in the Cardiovascular Technologist-Electrophysiology Lab, with a focus on catheterization procedures. The role requires a combination of technical expertise and the ability to handle on-call shifts, including weekends and nights.
Responsibilities
- Perform catheterization procedures in the Electrophysiology Lab.
- Manage patient care during procedures and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Participate in on-call shifts, including 24-hour weekend coverage and weekday night calls.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care.
- Maintain and operate laboratory equipment effectively.
Requirements
- CA License
- 2-3 years of experience as a Cath/EP Tech
- Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
- AHA ACLS Certification
- AHA BLS Certification
- ARRT Certification
- Laboratory experience
