About the position

The position is for a Cath Lab Technician who will primarily work in the catheterization lab but may also cover cases in the electrophysiology lab. The role involves performing various procedures related to cardiac care, including angioplasty and stent placements, while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The technician will be responsible for managing a daily caseload and may be required to be on call during weeknights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures in the Cath lab, including angioplasty and stent placements.
• Cover cases in the EP lab for pacemaker implants, ICDs, or ablations as needed.
• Manage patient care and ensure safety during procedures.
• Document and communicate effectively regarding patient status and procedures performed.
• Assist with EKGs and use of C-Arm and contrast during procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cath lab setting.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, ARRT.
• Experience with EKGs, C-Arm, contrast, and stents.
