About the position
Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist to assist with catheterization of the heart and other electrophysiology procedures in a healthcare setting. This role involves preparing equipment, assisting surgeons, monitoring patient vitals, and maintaining sterile conditions during various cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist with catheterization of the heart and electrophysiology procedures.
- Prepare equipment for procedures in the cardiac cath lab or operating room.
- Monitor patient vitals during procedures.
- Maintain sterile conditions in the healthcare facility.
- Care for patients undergoing angioplasty, stent implantation, ablation, and fluoroscopy.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience as a cardiac cath lab technologist.
- ARRT Certification.
- BLS Certification (AHA).
- Current state license.
