About the position
Pilot Flying J is seeking an experienced Retail General Manager to oversee our high-volume retail facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for the generation and execution of travel center and restaurant business plans to achieve established standards, sales and profit objectives, as well as customer satisfaction. The Retail General Manager will ensure that customer expectations are met, conduct meetings with subordinate employees, and maintain effective vendor relationships. You will also build, coach, manage, and develop teams from a staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training standpoint. As a Retail General Manager for Pilot Flying J, you will drive sales, manage team members, track inventory, provide exceptional customer service, and perform P&L analysis. This position requires a strong focus on leadership and accountability, ensuring that the team operates efficiently and effectively to meet the company's goals. You will be expected to exemplify integrity and accountability at the managerial level while demonstrating excellent team leadership skills. The role also requires flexibility in scheduling, as you will need to work nights, days, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Requirements

- Demonstrate excellent team leadership skills
