About the position
SkyBridge Healthcare Therapy is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide therapy services in Antigo, Wisconsin. The position is contract-based, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week over a duration of 13 weeks, with a focus on delivering effective occupational therapy services.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients as directed by the supervising occupational therapist.
- Assist patients in developing, recovering, and improving the skills needed for daily living and working.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and goals.
Requirements
- Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
- Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in occupational therapy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
