About the position
Planet Healthcare is seeking a travel Certified Surgical Technologist to provide essential support in surgical settings in Elizabethton, Tennessee. This role involves working 40 hours per week over a 13-week duration, focusing on delivering high-quality healthcare services while traveling to various locations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
- Handle surgical instruments and supplies during operations.
- Ensure the operating room is properly equipped and organized before, during, and after procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations in the surgical environment.
Requirements
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program.
- Experience in a surgical setting, preferably in a travel capacity.
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts, days, and adapt to different surgical environments.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous travel experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- Familiarity with various surgical procedures and protocols.
