About the position

Aya Healthcare is seeking a CT Tech for a travel assignment in Leonardtown, MD. This role involves performing various CT imaging procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort during the process. Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, chest, and vascular chest scans.
• Administer contrast media and ensure radiation safety during procedures.
• Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture as needed.
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.

Requirements

• Current BLS certification.
• State licensure as a CT Tech.
• At least one year of experience in CT imaging.
• Proficiency in performing various CT scans with and without contrast.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with brain perfusion imaging.
• Knowledge of isolation precautions.
