About the position

PRN Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled travel CT Technologist to join our team in Winchester, Virginia. As a travel CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) scans, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of care throughout the imaging process. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely diagnostic imaging services. In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in operating CT equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring that all imaging protocols are followed. You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities

  • Perform computed tomography (CT) scans on patients as per physician orders.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Maintain and operate CT equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Follow established protocols for imaging procedures and patient care.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to provide accurate diagnostic information.
  • Document patient information and imaging results in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and infection control practices during all procedures.

Requirements

  • Current certification as a CT Technologist.
  • Valid state license to practice as a CT Technologist.
  • Experience in performing CT scans and operating CT equipment.
  • Strong understanding of imaging protocols and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
