Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a dedicated and skilled travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Winchester, Virginia. As a CT Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. In this role, you will be responsible for performing CT scans, monitoring patients' responses to procedures, and ensuring that all imaging equipment is maintained and functioning properly. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members, providing updates on patient status and collaborating on care plans. The position requires a commitment to service excellence, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans and ensure high-quality imaging results.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes.
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members.
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transport patients as needed and assist with their care.
  • Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • One to three years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
  • Strong critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Physical ability to remain in a stationary position, move about, and handle equipment weighing 50-100 lbs.
  • PC skills and ability to work under close supervision occasionally.

Nice-to-haves

  • Additional certifications may be required for this position.
  • Experience in a short-term acute care hospital setting.
