About the position
Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist to perform computerized tomography imaging for diagnostic purposes in various healthcare settings. This role involves preparing patients for scans, operating CT equipment, processing images, and managing patient records. The position offers opportunities for travel and diverse assignments across the country.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for CT scans and explain the procedure to them.
- Operate CT equipment to capture medical images for diagnostic purposes.
- Process and analyze images for review by radiologists and physicians.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
- May assist with other imaging modalities such as X-ray and MRI.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a CT technologist.
- ARRT Certification.
- BLS Certification (AHA).
- Current state license (if applicable).
