About the position
This position is for a certified CT technician working in the Emergency Department (ED) with a focus on providing exceptional patient care. The role requires adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of patient cases. The technician will work night shifts from Tuesday to Friday, ensuring high-quality imaging services are delivered to patients in need.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans on patients in the Emergency Department.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Maintain and operate CT equipment according to safety standards.
- Collaborate with medical staff to provide accurate imaging results.
- Document patient information and imaging results accurately.
Requirements
- ARRT certification in CT is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Post-primary CT certification is preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in trauma, angiography, stroke, and cardiac imaging.
