About the position

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a dedicated and skilled travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Winchester, Massachusetts. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the healthcare field. As a CT Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computed tomography and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The assignment will begin on September 9, 2024, and will involve working 36 hours per week on a night shift schedule. You will be responsible for performing CT scans, monitoring patients' responses to interventions, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care. The position also includes responsibilities such as administering medications, maintaining cleanliness in the imaging rooms, and ensuring that all necessary supplies are adequately stocked. You will be expected to share on-call responsibilities and respond promptly when required. Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans and imaging procedures as per physician orders.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes.
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other health team members to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain cleanliness of imaging rooms and ensure adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transport patients as needed and assist with their comfort during procedures.
  • Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • One to three years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
  • Strong critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Physical ability to remain in a stationary position, move about, and handle equipment weighing 50-100 lbs.
  • Proficient PC skills and ability to work under close supervision as well as independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Additional certifications may be required for this position.
  • Experience in a short-term acute care hospital setting.
