About the position

Aequor Allied is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated travel CT Technologist to join our team for an exciting opportunity in Winchester, Massachusetts. This role requires a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality in imaging practices, as well as effective communication with patients and healthcare staff. The travel assignment is set to begin on September 9, 2024, and will last for a duration of 13 weeks, with a standard work schedule of 36 hours per week. The shifts will be 12 hours long, providing ample opportunity for both professional growth and personal exploration in the Winchester area. Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans on patients as per physician's orders.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
  • Maintain and operate CT equipment according to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Document patient information and imaging results accurately and promptly.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control protocols.
  • Assist in the training and orientation of new staff as needed.

Requirements

  • Current certification as a CT Technologist.
  • Valid state license to practice as a CT Technologist.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT imaging.
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a travel healthcare position.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • BLS certification.
