About the position
American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Westerly, Rhode Island. This role involves working as an Allied Health Professional, specifically focusing on CT/Pet/Cat Scan technology. The position offers a structured work schedule of 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts during the day, starting on November 18, 2024.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and related imaging procedures as required.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment according to safety standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging results.
Requirements
- Current professional license as required by the state.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Valid BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required for specific travel positions.
- At least one year of recent experience in specialty and a like setting for RN positions.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in travel assignments.
