About the position

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a travel Echo Technician for a 13-week assignment in Bridgton, Maine. The role involves performing echocardiograms in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a focus on adult patients. The technician will work four 10-hour shifts per week, with call requirements including one night every other week and one weekend every six weekends. This position is ideal for experienced professionals looking to travel and work in diverse healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform echocardiograms on adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Manage a daily caseload of 6-7 cases.
  • Participate in call rotation, including one night every other week and one weekend every six weekends.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records using Cerner system.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Echo Technician.
  • Proficiency in outpatient, inpatient, ER, and community hospital settings.
  • Experience with M-Mode, Treadmill Stress Echo, and Bubble Study.

Nice-to-haves

  • IV Starts
  • Experience with PACS
  • 3-D Echo
  • Familiarity with Phillips and Cerner systems
  • RDCS or RCS certification.
