About the position

The Travel Insurance Customer Care Professional is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients seeking assistance with their travel insurance needs. This role involves addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to customers regarding travel insurance inquiries and claims.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Educate customers on travel insurance policies and coverage options.
  • Process claims and assist customers with the claims process.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in customer service or insurance is a plus.
  • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance or travel industry.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with travel insurance products and services is preferred.

Nice-to-haves
