About the position
Vetted Health is seeking experienced Interventional Radiology Technologists for immediate nationwide travel contracts lasting 13 weeks. This role involves performing interventional procedures using radiologic imaging, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining radiologic equipment. The position offers competitive hourly rates and the opportunity to work in top healthcare facilities across various states.
Responsibilities
- Perform interventional procedures using radiologic imaging under the guidance of physicians.
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring appropriate positioning and safety measures.
- Maintain and operate radiologic equipment for interventional procedures.
- Document procedure details and maintain accurate patient records.
- Implement radiation safety protocols for patients and staff.
Requirements
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) with specialization in interventional radiology.
- Active and unencumbered ARRT (VI) certification.
- A valid state license in radiologic technology (Vetted can assist with new licenses if needed).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology, preferably in a travel role.
- Strong technical skills in handling radiologic equipment and ensuring patient safety.
