About the position
Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist to assist with catheterization of the heart and other electrophysiology procedures in various healthcare settings. This role involves preparing equipment, assisting surgeons, monitoring patient vitals, and maintaining sterile conditions during procedures such as angioplasty and stent implantation. The position is a travel job based in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, with a duration of 13 weeks and a standard workweek of 40 hours.
Responsibilities
- Assist with catheterization of the heart and electrophysiology procedures.
- Prepare equipment for procedures in the cardiac cath lab or operating room.
- Monitor patient vitals during procedures.
- Maintain sterile conditions in the healthcare facility.
- Care for patients undergoing angioplasty, stent implantation, ablation, and fluoroscopy.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience as a cardiac cath lab technologist.
- ARRT Certification.
- BLS Certification (AHA).
- Current state license.
