About the position
Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a 21-week assignment in Germantown, Maryland. This role involves working in an imaging center with a focus on mammography, requiring specific certifications and physical abilities. The position offers a structured schedule with no call, weekends, or holidays, and provides a competitive pay package.
Responsibilities
- Perform mammography procedures using Hologic Selenia Machine.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Document patient information and imaging results in EMR: ERAD.
- Assist with biopsies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding radiology practices.
Requirements
- ARRT-M certification in Mammography.
- Maryland State License for Radiology Technologist.
- CPR/BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
- Experience with Hologic Selenia Machine and EMR: ERAD.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with biopsies in mammography.
- Previous travel experience as a technologist.
