About the position

The MedSurg RN position at Gifted Healthcare involves providing bedside care to a diverse patient population, executing individualized patient assessments, and creating tailored care plans. The role emphasizes the preparation and administration of medications, as well as assisting physicians during examinations and treatments.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients.
• Execute individualized patient assessments to create a personalized plan of care.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications.
• Initiate alternative actions when adverse symptoms are displayed.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs when necessary.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Experience in MedSurg nursing preferred.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with IV insertion and catheterization.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
